Each Room has its Own Personality

Neighbourhood

a Morada is located in a vibrant corner of La Condesa neighborhood. This neighborhood has evolved over the centuries from its original  landscape as an 18th century hacienda to the hippodrome built for Mexico's Jockey Club horse track, to a transformative neighborhood filled with Art-Deco architecture that still stands out today. As you walk along Amsterdam Avenue and through the beautiful residential and treelined side streets, you'll notice that Condesa is now home to many young and global professionals, families, artists, and small businesses. It is a walkable, safe, and welcoming neighborhood that we are grateful to be a part of.

Food

Many visitors come to visit Mexico with a highly hungry agenda- specifically tacos in Mexico City. There is something for everyone here. Fine dining, casual bites, pop-up kitchens, pastries and desserts, coffee, teas, traditional or experimental, morning, noon, and night - you are guaranteed to find several satisfying options to choose from in a city with a growing population and hunger to feed the public.

Food

Mexico City extends throughout several neighborhoods beyond La Condesa. The vastness of it all can be a bit overwhelming but we assure that you will appreciate the movement and rhythm of Mexico City once you start exploring. Indoor and outdoor markets filled with vendors of all types of foods, artisanal goods, and visual stories will give you a glimpse into the pulse of the area. Green parks and open forests are scattered all around Mexico City and only a short ride or walk away from the house. Let us know what you are looking for and it would be a pleasure to help guide you with our recommendations and personal favorites.
